Over the past 150 years, Queensland Museum Network has come of age as a celebrated cultural icon chronicling the biological, cultural and regional diversity of Queensland and our place in the world.

The Queensland Museum Foundation Trust (the Foundation) was established in 2002 by the Board of the Queensland Museum to raise funds to support the strategic priorities and state-wide programs of Queensland Museum Network.

Since then, the Foundation has raised more than $30 million from corporate partnerships, private donations, bequests and grants.

Funds raised by the Foundation assist the Queensland Museum Network to:

• Acquire and conserve of objects and specimens that represent Queensland’s stories
• Create of inspiring experiences through the interpretation of our collections and research
• Carry out evidence-based scientific research to document and better understand our biodiversity and cultural heritage
